Solve: y/4-1/2=y/3+1​

 \frac{y}{4}  -  \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{y}{3}  + 1

 \frac{y - 2}{4}  =  \frac{y + 3}{3}

3y - 6 = 4y + 12

 - y = 18

y =  - 18
