Heya !!

Given equations :- y=x-7 _(1) and 5x+2y=7 _(2)

Substituting y=x-7 in _(2)
5x+2(x-7)=7
5x+2x-14=7
7x=14+7
7x=21
x=21/7
x=3

Now, putting x=3 in _(1)
y=3-7
y= -4

Answer :- A. (3, -4)
