so, the marked price of the object would be exclusive of 9%>>>

Marked price is,

which is,

now, that tax is increased to 13%>>

the, selling price would be,

12200.37 + ( \frac{13}{100}  \times 12200.37)

let us take this number, as 13786.4..

The person has to pay more, 13786.4 - 13407.0 , which is 379.4..

rupees 379.4 had to be payed to the shopkeeper.
