 \frac{x}{3}  + 1 =  \frac{x}{5}  \\  \\  \frac{x + 3}{3}  =  \frac{x}{5}  \\  \\ 3x = 5(x + 3) \\ 3x = 5x + 15 \\ 5x - 3x = 15 \\ 2x = 15 \\ x =  \frac{15}{2}  \\ x = 7  \frac{1}{2}

Answer:

x/3+1=x/5

x/3-x/5=-1

(5x-3x)/15=-1

2x/15=-1

2x=-15

x=-15/2
