Answer:

5 - 3(5x + 2) = 4(7 - 3x) + 1

5 - 15x - 6 = 4(7 - 3x) + 1

 - 6 + 5 - 15x = 4(7 - 3x)  + 1

 - 1 - 15x = 4(7 - 3x) + 1

 - 15x - 1 = 4( - 3x + 7) + 1

 - 15x - 1 =  - 12x + 28 + 1

 - 15x - 1 =  - 12x + 29

 - 15x =  - 12x + 29 + 1

 - 15x =  - 12x + 30

 - 15x - 12x = 30

 - 3x = 30

x =  \frac{30}{ - 3}

x =  - 10

Answer :

Therefore , Value of X is

  • - 10 .

Step-by-step-Explaination :

Step 1 :-

Solve the Given Equation :-

 \rm \: 5 - 3(5x + 2) = 4(7 - 3x) + 1

Opening brackets,

 \implies \rm \: 5 - 3 \times 5x  -  3 \times 2= 28 - 12x+ 1

Now , multiplying 3 in L.H.S side ,

 \implies\rm  \:  5-15x  - 6= 28 - 12x+ 1

 \implies\rm  \:  5-6-15x  = 29- 12x

 \implies\rm  \:  1-15x  = 29 - 12x

Bringing both X to one side and both Constant to other . So, change in signs ,

 \implies\rm  \:   - 15x   + 12x -1 = 29

Again if we bring - 1 to R.H.S it's sign will change .

 \implies\rm  \:   - 15x   + 12x  = 29+1

\implies\rm  \:   - 3x = 30

\implies\rm  \:   x  =  \cancel\dfrac{ 30}{  -  3}

\implies\rm  \:    \bf \: x  =   - 10

Hence ,

  • The value of X in this equation is - 10 .
