y =3x-4 , 3x+y=2

put y= 3x-4 in eq 3x+y=2

3x + 3x -4 =2

6x =2+4

x =6/6=1

x=1 put in eq

y =3x -4

y =3×1-4

Answer:

x = 1, y = - 1

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 3 x - 4 -----------> eq 1.

3 x + y = 2

=> 3x + 3x - 4 = 2

=> 6x - 4 = 2

=> 6x = 6

=> x = 1 -----------> eq 2.

subs eq 2. in eq 1,

y = 3 - 4 = 1

Therefore,

x = 1

x = 1 y = - 1
