x = 13/5,  y = - 13/5

Step-by-step explanation:

3x -2y = 13 ...... eq (1)

2x + 2y = 0 ....... eq (2)

Now solving the equations, we see that 2y will be cancelled from both equations. We get,

5x = 13

x = 13/5

Now putting value of x in eq (2)

2 ( 13/5) + 2y = 0

2y = - 26/5

y = -26/5 * 1/2

y = - 13 /5
