yes but only trained animal's have sharp mind like dog's, dolphins etc . sometimes they behave foolishly. few times they think in right direction , when a street dog comes near and we throw a ball it bites us . but if it is a trained dog it brings it back . in case of dolphins when you keep a ring dolphin don't know what to do. a trained dolphin jumps through it .

In some animals we can observe conscious actions. These actions are mainly observed when animals are in danger, hungry, or during mating ceremonies. They exhibit intentional actions although these actions are mostly instinctual behaviours.

We cannot establish for certain that they are aware of their actions but if observe very closely, some animals show intentional actions. Some animals like dogs can read our emotional behaviours while dolphins and elephants have intelligence in problem solving mechanisms.
