a. The density of these places have decreased due to deforestation.


b. Rapid urbanisation has put enormous pressure on its freshwater resources.


c. There may not be culture of rainwater harvesting.


d. Due to high population and economic growth.

- There are many ways by which loss of water takes place like evaporation, human activities,ets.
- There are some crops that require water for cultivation the entire year and that’s why they consume a lot of water.
