The gain% is \frac{100}{9}%.

Step-by-step explanation:

As given in question that,

Cost Price of 2 articles = 15 Rs.

Selling Price of 3 articles = 25 Rs.

We have to find the gain%.

So, C.P. of 1 articles = \frac{15}{2}

and S.P. of 1 articles = \frac{25}{3}

We know that,

gain = S.P. - C.P.

       =  \frac{25}{3}\ -\frac{15}{2}

       = \frac{50\ -\ 45}{6}

       =  \frac{5}{6}

gain% = \frac{gain\times100}{C.P.}

          = \frac{\frac{5}{6}\times100}{\frac{15}{2}}

          = \frac{5}{6}\times100\times\frac{2}{15}

          = \frac{100}{9}%

Therefore, the gain% will be \frac{100}{9}%.
