TO FIND:-

the Gain percentage​

FORMULA USED:-

Gain % = $\frac{gain}{CP}$ × 100

SOLUTION:-

cost at which 3 articles are sold  = ₹25

the cost of 1 cp of article = $\frac{15}{2}$ = ₹ 7.5

∴ cp of 3 articles = ₹ 7.5 × 3

                              = ₹ 22.5

then,

CP=₹ 22.5

SP=₹ 25

profit=₹ 25 - ₹ 22.5 = ₹ 2.5

∴ Gain % = $\frac{gain}{CP}$ × 100

               = $\frac{2.5}{22.5}*100$

               = 11.11 %
