This lipid bilayers of animal cells allows the organelles work independently and to carry out their function uniquely.

EXPLANATION:

Organelles are membrane-bound compartments found inside animal cells. They are made of outer lipid layer which separates them from other cells.  They have capacity to carry to independent function.

Example: Lysosomes are responsible for cellular waste breakdown. Lysosomes used to destroy only cell waste, without interfering the other cells because they are enclosed with in the lipid layers.
