Cells the basic structural unit of a body

contains thread like structure called

chromosome inside the nucleus .

Chromosomes can be seen only when the cell

divides . These chromosomes contains GENE

( unit of inheritance from parents to offsprings )

when keeps on passing from generation to

generation. Combination of different genes

result in different characteristic. So , it is

normally seen that if your father has brown

eyes then you may end up having brown eyes

or if your mother has curly hair then u too may

have curly hair .

It is believed that till seven generations the

genes will keep on passing means that similar

characteristics of parents and offsprings will

be seen but only till seven. generations and

after that new species or breed will start!!!
