Sometimes parents put too much pressure on children to perform well in school due to several reasons such as comparison, forcing their aspirations on their children, etc.
Plus Indian education system puts undue focus on marks and not on learning which along with high competition puts a lot of pressure on kids. Parents should realize that there are a lot of fields other that those of academics and rather than forcing their children to do something they should understand their kids interests. They should support their children and focus on learning based education.
