Hi...☺

Here is your answer...✌

GIVEN THAT,

Number of men and horses are equal

Let it be x

And,
Number of men who are walking

= Half of total number of men

 = \frac{x}{2} \\
We know that,

A horse have 4 legs and a man have 2 legs

Now
According to the question,

4x + 2 \times \frac{x}{2} = 70 \\ \\ 4x + x = 70 \\ \\ 5x = 70 \\ \\ x = \frac{70}{5} \\ \\ x = 14

HENCE,

The number of horses are 14
