Advantages of the spore throwing fern are as follows -

• Independence : The spore throwing fern can spread their spores without being dependent on any kind of environmental medium and that's why they become much more independent. This independence helps them when the environmental mediums (eg. Air) are not present in the external environment.

• Accuracy : In this throwing process, the wastage of the spores is much less than the air transmission process. And, that's why this process is much more accurate than the air transmission process of spore spreading.
