the margin of label is 2 CM from top and 2 CM from bottom
it means 4 CM less from the height of cylindrical cans
the height of label = 32-4 = 28 CM
length of the label is equal to the surface area of the cylindrical can
length of label = 2πr = 2π(d/2)
= 2 (π)(20/2) = 20π CM
so, length of one side of label = 28 CM
and,
another side = 20π CM
the surface area of label is length *breadth
area = 28 * 20π
= 560π CM sq.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

the margin of label is 2 CM from top and 2 CM from bottom

it means 4 CM less from the height of cylindrical cans

the height of label = 32-4 = 28 CM

length of the label is equal to the surface area of the cylindrical can

length of label = 2πr = 2π(d/2)

= 2 (π)(20/2) = 20π CM

so, length of one side of label = 28 CM

and,

another side = 20π CM

the surface area of label is length *breadth

area = 28 * 20π

= 560π CM sq.
