some gas is trapped inside a metal cylinder which is closed by a piston

(a) the piston is fixed, it is moved to a warmer room, explain in terms of molecules what happens to the pressure of the gas in the cylinder

(b)The piston is now released. It moves to the right and finally stops.
Explain these observations in terms of the pressure and the volume of the gas in the cylinder.

Explanation:

the pressure will increase because the temperature will be increased &it will be heat up the up gas molecular and start cladling to each other and on the wall this will be increaseing pressures
