Some goods/services are supplied for Rs20,000 from Mathura (U.P.) to Ratlam (M.P.) and
then from Ratlam to Indore (M.P.). If at each stage, the rate of tax under GST system is
12% and the profit made by the dealer in Ratlam is Rs 3,750; find the cost of the article

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Taxable value of goods is 20000

He sold it from up to mp

That means I GST

GST =12%

CGST=6%

IST=12%

6% on 20000

=6÷100×20000

=1200

12% on 20000

=12÷100×20000

=2400

Amount of goods

=20000+2400

=22400

Now from ratnam to indore

=CGST AND SGST

+profit of 3750

=23750+GST

=23750×(12÷100)

=26600

Therefore price of aritcal in indore=26600
