read the question twice and thoroughly
dont skip any workings
make sure ur work is neat
pay attention to decimal places
check ur answers twice
concentrate on the paper 100%, dont look around
make sure to keep an eye out for the time limit
if u dont know something write something, ANYTHING never leave it blank

listen....if you are writing maths exam,then first of all you should be very concentrated....you should not divert your mind anywhere....you can attempt the questions you know first...but then you should also give the required time to the hard questions...that's it..
