mass of hot water = M. let its temperatur be T deg C
mass of cold water = 3 * M three times mass of hot water.
cold water is at 10 deg C
final temperature = 20 C
So WRITE equation for balancing the Heat energy
M T + 3M 10 = (M + 3M) 20
= M T + 30 M = 4M * 20 = 80 M cancel M
T + 30 = 80 T = 50 deg Centigrade
