Onion is a multi-cellular organism. The cell of onion peel consists of a cell wall, a cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus and a large vacuole. The nucleus is in the cytoplasm at the edge. The vacuole is present in the center of the cell. It is surrounded by the cytoplasm. The cell wall and cell membrane surrounds the cytoplasm. Presence of cytoplasm and large vacuoles is the indication of plant cell. The cells are arranged in an order.
