Some information about Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT):
- The Indian Institute of Technology is a government owned institution to get admission here you have to get 75 % marks in the 12 th grade board exam of your board. Not only that you have to clear JEE Mains so that you can write JEE Advanced.
- You would have to get a high rank in the JEE Advanced ranking to get admission in IIT.
- There are many IIT's around India. The most famous IIT and the best one is IIT Bombay which is located in the state of Maharashtra of India.
- IIt is there in 23 cities of India. Some of them being IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Palakad etc.
- People take their B Tech from IIT. This institute also offers placement from big companies after completing the course.
- Big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys hire their employees from IIT.
- The students who get a very good rank in the JEE Mains examination can get a seat in the NIT which is the national institute of technology which is like IIt but not as big. They are relatively smaller and lesser placement opportunities compared to iits. Still big companies also go to Nits for placements.
- The portion for the jee main and jee advanced examination is the 11th and 12th. More questions come from the 12ht portion of the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
