The United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) was founded on 16 November 1945. Their headquarters are located at Place de Fontenoy in Paris, France. UNESCO’s work to protect cultural heritage is one of the most visible, universally acknowledged and respected international conservation initiatives ever undertaken. They also provide a platform for States to adopt a common approach to heritage protection.
Hope it helps!
