number of key rings bought = 12 (1 dozen is 12)

rate per dozen = Rs.60

So, Cost price = Rs.60

Selling price of one key ring = Rs.7

Selling price of a dozen of key rings = 7 × 12

= Rs.84

Overall there is a gain of Rs.24 (gain = sp-cp)

For 1 key ring : CP = 60/12=5

For 1 key ring: SP = Rs.7

So , for 1 key ring the gain is Rs.2

Answer:

₹2

Step-by-step explanation:

We know the question:

Some key chains are bought at ₹60 a dozen. If each is sold at ₹7, then there is a gain of________ on each key chain.

Hindi explanation:

Answer: Keys were bought at per dozen - ₹60

each sold at- ₹7

Each dozen contain- 12 key chains

C.P. of each key chain is- 60/12
