some leaves aren't green in color.does it means they doesn't contain chlorophyll. if not how do they photosynthesise?

no the pigments other than green mask the green pigment I.e. why we see colour other than green

heya. user.. mostly green leafes contains chlorophyll and only they can perform photosynthesis.
the other colour can be brown.. it means the brown leaf is dried up and contain dead cells.
