Some lines on KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS

Kargil Vijay Diwas, named after the fruitful Operation called Vijay, is observed in India on 26 July. On this date in 1999, India effectively took order of the high stations which had been lost to Pakistan. The “Kargil war was battled for 60 days” which ended on 26 July in which the death toll to be high on the two sides. The war finished with India recapturing control of the entire recently held domain, thus restoring business as usual prior to the war.

“Kargil Vijay Diwas is commended on 26 July consistently” out of appreciation for the Kargil War's Heroes. This day is praised in the Kargil–Dras division and the national capital New Delhi, where the Prime Minister of India pays respect to the warriors at Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate each year.
