Answer:

Lion capital of Sarnath pillar, Varanasi situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The Sarnath Pillar is very impressive. It is 23 metres high. It has 4 lions carved at the top, seated with their backs to each other. This design us used as our national emblem of India. We can see it on our currency notes, coins and postage stamps.
