Some lines on "The school got over and I missed the bus":

Everyday i used to catch the scheduled school bus at 4.00 pm.

As usual the school got over by 3.45 pm and i was walking slowly thinking of the incidents which happened that day in the class.

Since i was running with the thoughts i walked very slowly. Suddenly i got to remember about my school bus and started running to catch my bus.

Unfortunately i missed my bus and have to wait for next bus.

What a strange day! Being the school cabinet head I was assisting some of the students in their preparation for the Independence Day Programme. The last bell rang and with that the school got over. The participants gathered their props and left to collect their belongings. I took the responsibility to keep the props in the activity room. While carrying and arranging them properly, many a times the props fell of the floor. I kept re-arranging till they were all stacked properly and lost track of time. When I was done and looked at my watch. I dashed towards the classroom, took my bag and started towards the parking area only to find that there were no school buses. I had missed my bus and didn’t have money to go back home. Even if I gave a call to my parents they wouldn’t be at home at this time. I became nervous and went to the school office. Luckily, a teacher was still there. I told her everything that had happened. She reassured me and said that she would drop me home. After sometime we left from school but due to some kind of rally many roads were blocked for a few hours. We were in a taxi and were clueless as to how reach our respective places. After travelling through many small lanes for hours, my teacher finally dropped me home. It was late evening. My parents were worried and were enquiring about! Seeing me they were relieved and I narrated the entire incident to them. This was really a strange and tiring experience for me. I never felt so happy at home before this.
