Some liquid is filled in a cylindrical vessel of radius r. Let f1 be the force applied by the liquid on the bottom of the cylinder. Now the same liquid is poured into a vessel of uniform square cross-section of side r. Let f2 be the force applied by the liquid on the bottom of this new vessel. Then

Hii friend,

# Answer- F2=F1/π.

# Explaination-

In the given situation, weight of liquid is constant.

So the pressure exerted by liquid in both beakers will be same.

P1=P2

For cylindrical container P1=F1/A1=F1/πr^2

For cuboidal container P2=F2/A2=F2/r^2

F1/A1=F2/A2

F1/πr^2=F2/r^2

F1/π=F2

F2=F1/π

Force exerted by liquid in cuboidal container will be F1/π.
