11 for 1 Re.
1 costs 1/11 Rs.
9 for 1 Re.
1 costs 1/9 Rs.
Total C.P (2 nos.) = 1/11 + 1/9 = 9+11/99 = 20/99 Rs.
S.P 10 for 1 Re.
S.P 1 = 1/10 Rs.
S.P for 2 nos. = 2*1/10 = 1/5 Rs.
Loss = C.P - S.P = 20/99 - 1/5 = 100-99/495 = 1/495 Rs.
Loss% = Loss/C.P * 100 = (1/495)/20/99 * 100 = 1*99/(20*495) * 100 = 1% loss
Hope it helps.
