hitarthgodhani: look you need to know all the valencies and formulas to convert the reactions! also the common names of all the compounds given in your textbook of the substances.

hitarthgodhani: and they always try to make you fumble in the valencies portion and chemical reaction balancing! so you should focus of valency chart, reactivity series and the names of all substances!

This chapter is basically about chemical reactions, types of chemical reactions, how to balance a chemical equation and how to write a chemical equation with some examples and in last there is short explanation of corrosion and rancidity.
First read the whole chapter with cool mind, it will take only 15 to 20 min and then try to solve some NCERT questions. I am attaching the image of some very important yearly questions of CBSE board see it and set up your mind for tricky questions and practise as much as you can.
From your examination point of view you should read the NCERT book properly and solve NCERT questions.
