Answer: This property is called Appearance. Some materials have lustre while some don't have lustre. For example- Iron and aluminium have lustre but sodium and potassium don't have lustre

gold has lusture and it can be used on jewellery , where's wood is non lustrous hence makes it more easier to polish it
