yes they gets seperated if they are crossed with homozygous recessive plant and the upcoming f2 generation will have some plants in which these genes are separated.

There is a possibility of separation of genes located on the same chromosome during crossover.

But above condition is possible only when they are present for the from each other.

Such type of separation is called as independent assortment.

This type of separation is not possible if the genes are closely present to each other.
