Sum of charges on collecting plate and condensing plate of a charged capacitor is Zero.

1) A capacitor is made in such a way that there is dielectric medium sandwiched between two plates.

2) As a potential difference is created in between them, an electric field is developed.

3) The direction of polarity depends on the nature of charge.

4) One plate will be negative, the other will be positive. So the sum of the charges on the collecting plate and condensing plate is zero.
