Drawbacks of democracy:-

1. Economic development is slow due to slow implementation of policies
2. Decision making is very slow
3. Conflicting ideology of parties and people's favouritism is bad for democracy
4. There are more chances of corruption as common people are involved in various processes like voting etc.
5. Democratic government changes after each tenure, so it is an unstable form of government.
6. Sometimes, elected representative may neglect the issues of the public while fulfilling their own interests.
