2) After the decline of NON - COOPERATION AND KHILAFAT MOVEMENT , a large section of the muslims felt alienated from the Congress.
3) From the Mid- 1920's the Congress came to be more vividly associated with openly Hindu Relegion Nationalist Group like the Hindu Mahasabha.
4) As a relation between Hindu and Muslim worsened, each community organised religious processions with militant fervor provoking Hindu - Muslim communal clashes and riots in various cities.

they were unhappy with the failure of non cooperation khilafat mov
they felt that congress ignored their demands and their culture was losing its sheath
they felt that congress only valued the demands and interests of hindus
the demand of reservation of seats for muslims in state assembly elections was made but this was neglected
with time gap widened between two communities,finally led to partition
