Option B, is the right answer.

Solon was the famous lawgiver, who made both economic and political reforms to the law code of Athens. These law codes were implemented in the year 594. Though his reforms were extreme, they meet the demands of the people at the time. Abolishing all debts owed by the people, was among the most radical changes of the time. This reduced the hold of the nobility on the common people and made it accessible for all males to become productive subjects in the community.

By doing this he made Athens powerful and granted the center its popularity all over the centuries.
