Let the first no.be x
And ATQ ,,
The second no.will be (x+15)
X+(x+15) = 95
(2x) + 15 =95
2x = 95- 15
x = (95-15)/2
x = 70/2
x = 35
Hence the first no.is 35. And the second is (x+ 15)
35 +15 = 50..

given x + y = 95 ---------- 1
and x - y = 15 ---------- 2
⇒ y = x -15
substituting this in eq 1.
x + x - 15 = 95
⇒ 2x = 110
⇒ x = 55
substituting it in eq 2.
55 - y = 15
⇒y = 40
Therefore the two numbers are 55 and 40.
