Find the value of -

1 +  \frac{1}{ 1 + \frac{1}{1 -  \frac{1}{6} } }

Solution -

 = 1 +  \frac{1}{1 +  \frac{1}{1 -  \frac{1}{6} } }

Taking L. C. M of 6 and 1 we will get -

 = 1 +  \frac{1}{1 +  \frac{1}{ \frac{6 - 1}{6} } }

 = 1 +  \frac{1}{1 +  \frac{1}{ \frac{5}{6} } }

 = 1 +  \frac{1}{1 + 1 \div  \frac{5}{6} }

 = 1 +  \frac{1}{1 + 1 \times  \frac{6}{5} }

 = 1 +  \frac{1}{1 +  \frac{6}{5} }

Taking L. C. M of of 5 and 1 we will get -

 = 1 +  \frac{1}{ \frac{5 + 6}{5} }

 = 1 +  \frac{1}{ \frac{11}{5} }

 = 1 + 1 \div  \frac{11}{5}

 = 1  +  1 \times  \frac{5}{11}

 = 1 +  \frac{5}{11}

Taking L. C.M of 1 and 11 we will get -

 =  \frac{11 + 5}{11}

 =  \frac{16}{11}

Therefore the answer is 16/11
