some part of a journey of 730 km was completed by a car with the speed of 60 km/he then the speed is reduced by 10 km/hr and the journey is completed if it takes 13 hrs to complete the journey find the time taken and the distance covered at the reduced speed​

Answer: Total time taken➡ 8 hours.

distance at reduced speed➡ 250 km.

1.) distance at 60 kmph. + distance at (60-10=50) kmph. = total distance.

➡(t×60) + {(13-t)×50} = 730

➡ 60t+650-50t=730

➡ 10t=730-650

➡ t=80/10 ➡ t=8 hours.

2.) distance at reduced speed =

➡(13-t)×50

➡(13-8)×50=5×50=250 km.
