In my opinion, one should not be spending lavishly on weddings because this creates a sharp contrast between rich and poor people.

Explanation:

• People who spend lavishly on their weddings hold the opinion that they are financially strong so they can afford it. They want to attain worldly pleasure.

• However, people who come from unstable financial backgrounds think marriages should be kept simple rather than a display of wealth. Since luxurious weddings create troubles for them. They can not meet ends in such circumstances.

• Also, these two different mindsets result in an unstable society and brew feelings of hatred or jealousy.
