This is an unreasonable idea. Teenagers are sensitive and not mature. They require empathetic approach. The root cause of the problem must be identified and the child's reasoning must be understood. Often it is the influence of peers or family. These teens require guidance to be brought back on track rather than harsh treatments. Counselling could really help the individual as it helps install moral values and character building. the kids must be guided as to what is right and wrong and ts consequences. Often these negative activities of the teens are out of frustration or rebellion. They need to be heard and giving time to process and understand their wrongdoings. For example, harsh home situations could be a cause for this disruptive attitude. As Dr. Phil says, ' you do not reward bad behavior '  . The children should be given punishments and rules must be set for them to follow. Everyone needs a second chance. They must be guided at this stage so that they can grow into responsible adults who accept their mistakes, try to correct them and move on.
