Explanation:

There are some plants which cannot perform photosynthesis, that kind of plants derive nutrition from host plant and that type of plants are parasitic ( ex:- Cuscuta ). Some plants can perform photosynthesis but grows on nitrogen less soil or unable to absorb nitrogen from soil. They cope up with this problem by consuming insects like Pitcher plant, Venus fly trap.
