B) Here fire means lust and desire. He has experienced his desire and have come to know that the desire and lust are the most important elements to destroy the world.

C) There are two contradictory opinions in public. Some say that the world will end in fire while some say in ice. It means the world will end either by lust, desire or hatred( ice stand for hatred)
