Dear Raj,
I hope this letter finds you with the best of your health. It's been a long time since we met. I received your letter yesterday and I am glad to know that your school session has started after summer vacations and you are working hard from the very first day.
You have asked me in your letter about how I spent my last vacations. I have made some new friends here in the last two months since we moved here, but I miss you a lot specially on vacations.
You know I had holidays from my school due to Onam Festival. I, with my relatives and new friends enjoyed a lot in our colony during the festival. We didn’t know that this festival is celebrated here with so much excitement and interest. We had prepared dances for that night and had a great performance on stage. We made Rangoli on Onam eve. The celebrations were full of music, folk dances and games. We played many games like rolling chair, dancing statue, etc. It's one of my memorable holidays and I wish you were here.
I am thinking if we could celebrate the next Onam festival together in my house. I will introduce you to my new friends here and spend some quality time here.
