Some shg groups charge very high interst rates for loans to its members is not fair ?why it is not fair?

shg groups are made so that they are helpful to people at the time of needs and adverse situations. but if they charge high interest rates, then it will not be helpful to the people. Instead they will bring debt trap to the borrowers and stop them from earning a profit.
