1. This is a statement from Mandela's speech which he delivered after becoming the first black president of South Africa. So, it can be easily understood that there Mandela tried to focus on the racial problem of South Africa that had come to an end. In fact, he meant to say that the very hour to bridge the gap between the white people and the black people had arrived.

2. It was a part of a universal speech given by Nelson Mandela. This sentence shows Mandela's liberal out look. He was not biased towards the black people despite being black himself. He wanted to form a multi-racial country for all irrespective of caste , creed and colour.

3.Nelson Mandela led South Africa to breaking the shackles of apartheid. He intended to build a multi-racial democracy without shedding a drop of blood. That's why, Mandela is called "an icon of peace and reconciliation.

4. Apartheid is a racial segregation. It is a former social system in South Africa in which black people and people from other racial groups did not have the same political and economic rights as white people. So, I do not support ot because apartheid brings social discrimination.
