some solids diffuse in liquids not is gases,some solids diffuse in gases but not in liquids.why?

Molecules move more freely in gases than solids,so the solid can diffuse easily and there is a lot of room for the diffused molecules to travel,but same is not the cas for liquids,

Just in case the diffused molecules of solid has a larger size than that of liquid molecules,then there will less room for it diffuse.
