There might be two possible answers for this answer.
They are:
- See, if you remove the between the windowpanes, ie create a vaccum, you can insulate anything (just like a thermos). Quilts and blankets work on the same principle
- Or, you could fill the windowpanes with Argon gas (symbol Ar and atomic number 18).
{I don't really know how Argon gas works in insulation, so, you might have to search the net for it.}
